A Message from our Great Pastor

Stand Still

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. “

Exodus 14:13

In a busy, loathsome world like the one in-which we lie, it is difficult to “stand still. “ The multitudinous tasks of the day demand our undivided attention. We are beset on every hand with problems to solve, places to go, and people to see. Duty calls and we respond; however, we do not well to expend our energy and drain our intellect without response.

To “stand still” is essential. It is the only way to “see” the salvation of the Lord.” Running to and fro, we impair our vision of the Lord. Take time today to be holy. Take time to hear His comforting voice and to see His helpful hand.

(Psalm 23:5) and means "I have more than enough for my needs" though interpretations and usage may vary.

Psalms 23.5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over
