Elder Frank Dewayne Stevenson Sr.
The Preacher:
Elder Frank Stevenson acknowledged his call to preach in February, 2003. He preached his trail sermon (A Weeping Savior) that same year at Greater Grace Temple Church. Frank served as director over the media ministry and assistant to Pastor Breonus Mitchell for over three years. He then reunited with Galilee Primitive Baptist Church and spent the next year training in ministry under Elder Robert Stevenson. In January, 2005, Frank accepted the invite to serve as the 5th pastor of St. James Primitive Baptist Church in Pulaski, TN. On March 12, 2005, Frank was ordained by the Lynn Creek Association and submitted to the pastoral leadership of Elder Thomas Givens. Frank and his family drove over 300 miles per week to meet the ministerial needs of his fast growing congregation. While in Pulaski, God blessed Elder Stevenson to change lives. People were healed and delivered on the convictions of his anointed preach word. In February 2007, the St. Luke PB Church body unanimously elected Elder Stevenson to serve as the 8th pastor of their prestigious and historical church.
